On Headshots…
Headshots can feel overwhelming… like you’re meant to show all you are as an actor, your range, your casting, every role you’ve ever wanted to play, your hopes, your dreams, your life story… It can feel like your entire career depends on it.
The truth?
A great headshot isn’t about trying to show every character you could ever play.
It’s about showing who you are.
YOU the person, not the actor.
The person a casting director meets when you walk into the room.
That’s not to say the rest isn’t important. It absolutely is. But when you’re relaxed, comfortable and (dare I say it) having fun, you’ll be surprised how much of that range comes through without having to force it.
And then we get to capture you.
As for ‘About Me’…
The most important thing to know about me is this… I get it.
Before I was a photographer, I was an actor.
I trained at LAMDA in London and I know what it feels like to be on the other side of the camera. It’s that experience that shapes the way I photograph actors today.
The ideal shoot is all about capturing you and your personality. I have a relaxed approach to shooting- we talk, we hang out, we have a laugh. After all, the more comfortable you are; the more we will get from your session and the more we get to capture the real ‘you’ …
